The best thing about Tarzan of course, is Tarzan. Khan is the perfect embodiment of the character as envisioned by Burroughs. He is large, strong, huge, and gloriously hairy. He's brassy and self-assured, and he has a quietly charismatic presence. He could get his way because he could take it, and I liked that about him. The other thing I liked about Tarzan is how he is ultimately a nurturer, the kind of gorilla who could command a disorganized troop of animals. He is the leader of his kingdom, and probably the friendliest ape. Panditji is none of those things, but he is a heartless opportunist. He attempts to use Junglee to get out of his own mess, but Junglee cannot be taken for granted. This new kind of Tarzan is a welcome addition. Kulkarnis is a terrific character actor and very good in this, probably the best he has ever been. I think he could have been a real star in this business, had he not taken such a different career path.
Out of everything that is being said about the trailer, the highlight is the elephant. Bhola is a close friend of Vidyuts, and in Junglee, he is quite unlike any other elephants. He is a good friend, and he plays along with his boyfriend on the sly. Junglee tarzan trailer clearly sees a man-animal relationship unlike any other film trailer we have seen. To begin with, Vidyut and Bhola have best buddies. As the film progresses, they grow closer to each other, to the point that they share a bed and even a bath. Also, they can also eat, sleep, and drink together. At times when Bhola is upset, Vidyut consoles him with hugs and kisses. He doesnt hit him, but he doesnt leave him either. 3d9ccd7d82
